First night camp not so much fun with the rain…everthing, including us was wet Dont think I would win any fashion awards in Climbers Monthly Second night camp was frozen…left some clothes outside and they were frozen stiff – rookie mistake Still amazes me how impressive the porters are it really is quite desolate on the middle plains My favorite photo of the whole trek. We arrived in the dark but woke up to realise that we were above the cloud line. It was an amazing site. The unusual, almost spooky-like follage on the lower plains The end of the trip Reached the volcano rim at Gilman’s Point before being stricken with altitude sickness Trying to look happy and convince the guides that I am well enough to climb the next 200m to the summit It really is a spectacular view from the top Life's a Beach in Greece Versatile Vietnam
