Andrew SullivanANDREW SULLIVAN

NICKNAME - Sully

While new to the industry, is an avid traveller ever since taking off to Europe with a backpack and a mate many, many years ago (now it has a cool name of “Gap Year” but back then it was called “bumming around Europe”). His philosophy is that you can never travel enough because there is so much to see.

FAVOURITE PLACE TO VISIT

Greece – After spending a year working in Greece, I got to know more than just Athens and Santorini. I got to know the people and the lesser known places and I am now an avid Grecophile.

FAVOURITE TRAVEL EXPEREINCE

After trekking for 4 days on the Inca Trail and sitting at the Sun Gate at sunrise watching the clouds dispersing to reveal Machu Picchu below. Breathtaking (but that could also be due to the altitude!)

WHATS STILL ON ANDREW’s BUCKET LIST?

  • Visiting the Mountain Gorillas in either the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda or Parc National des Volcans in Rwanda.
  • White-water rafting down the Zambezi River
  • African safari in a Luxury Tent
  • And to one day find myself staring at the mud-brick mosque of Djenne in Mali after finally reaching Timbuktu

Mara BuffonMARA BUFFON

NICKNAME – Buffy or Maya

Mara has been in the travel industry for over 20 years and still loves it. This shows in her unbridled enthusiasm with clients and almost "lives the trip with them" (that’s probably her in the background of all your photos!). Her philosophy is "Life is a Journey".

FAVOURITE PLACE TO VISIT

LA And Disneyland. When you step through those gates at Disney, you feel like you are in a story book, and it so brings out your inner child. All worries of the outside world just seem to disappear. No matter what age, Disneyland gives you that warm fuzzy feeling and laughter that makes your stomach hurt. In LA you spend time hoping you will bump into a celebrity as you tour through Hollywood, Beverley Hills where you are constantly star gazing (not the ones in the sky), Rodeo Drive where I would love to shop and of course Sunset Boulevard where you see the celebrity hang outs and clubs (which you see on the Entertainment Tonight News).

FAVOURITE TRAVEL EXPEREINCE

Being invited on an Adventure Weekend in the Northern Territory. After travelling to many places, this was an unbelievable and one off experience for me. Felt like a bird in a hot air balloon floating over Alice Springs (bit of a bumpy landing though). Helicopter flight over Uluru and the Olgas (less exhausting than climbing the Rock). Sounds of silence dinner in the middle of the dessert with the stars as your lighting, watching the overseas tourists screaming and jumping when our insects only wanted to share their food, and finally riding on the back of a Harley Davidson to the bottom of Ayres Rock which definitely brought out the inner bikie chick.

WHATS STILL ON MARA’s BUCKET LIST?

  • Going to the Caribbean and staying in an all inclusive 5 star resort drinking Jamaican Rum and listening to Reggae music (might even come back with dread locks) by the beautiful beaches or resort pool. Listening and talking with the locals (and enjoying that accent) and exploring surrounding areas.
  • Overwater Bungalow in Bora Bora Tahiti. This would be totally for R and R and the thought of having breakfast delivered on an outrigger canoe sounds pretty awesome.
  • Darwin and Hobart the only cities I haven’t been to in Australia – A definite must see.
  • Argentina not only to visit the relations I have never met, but to experience their culture and all that BBQ meat and salad.
  • More Disneyland’s..........magical places on earth!!
