A hand-stitched journey created with passion and attention to detail
DESTINATION 1 – Eyre Peninsula
Port Lincoln Hotel
The Port Lincoln Hotel is centrally located on the town’s curved shoreline. The spacious Luxury Ocean View Suite is the perfect base from which to explore the untouched wilderness of the Eyre Peninsula. Offering panoramic views of magnificent, tree-lined Boston Bay from the comfort of your private balcony, this hotel offers contemporary facilities and classic country hospitality.
Throughout your stay, you’ll be looked after by passionate locals from Australian Coastal Safaris. Founder David Doudle and his highly experienced team have the connections to peel back the secrets of the west coast, opening up regions that are untouched by tourism for a truly immersive experience. You will enjoy 4WD safaris through endless sand dunes, private beach fishing, shucking oysters straight from the rack in the turquoise waters of Coffin Bay, and up-close and personal wildlife encounters. Your stay includes a first-hand demonstration of how the Eyre Peninsula earned the title of Australia’s seafood capital.
Itinerary
Day 1: Sand Dunes, Koalas & Safe Harbours
This morning you’ll be met by your private guide at the Adelaide Airport who will be your host throughout your journey. Arriving in Port Lincoln mid-to-late morning on a scheduled service, you’ll quickly become immersed in the natural, rugged beauty of the Eyre Peninsula with the knowledgeable guidance of your hosts.
Head south to Port Lincoln National Park traversing the rolling Wanna sand dunes by 4WD, and trace the jagged curve of coastline escarpment overlooking the largest natural harbour in Australia, culminating in the view from picturesque Whalers Way. Returning to Port Lincoln, you’ll visit Mikkira Station for one of the finest wildlife interactions in the country, with koalas, emus, and kangaroos. This evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious seafood-inspired dinner at a local restaurant just a short stroll along the esplanade from your hotel.
Day 2: Coffin Bay Oysters & More
Today you’ll traverse the shores of the Southern Eyre Peninsula. You’ll dig your toes into the sand to gather cockles, cast your line into the surf on a private beach and catch fresh Australian salmon, and if the weather is conducive, collect abalone mere metres from the shoreline.
Aquaculture discoveries continue with a private behind the scenes tour of a renowned Oyster Farm at Coffin Bay. Taste brine-kissed oysters plucked straight from the rack, paired with a glass of quality local wine.
For dinner, you’ll be welcomed into a local chef’s home for a hands-on masterclass with a diverse range of the freshest local seafood sourced from 2,000 kilometres of untouched coastline.
DESTINATION 2 – Flinders Ranges
Gum Creek Station
Nestled in the heart of South Australia’s magnificent Flinders Ranges is the spectacular Gum Creek Lodge. Folded into the landscape with 50,000 acres of undisturbed country to its name, the lodge prides itself on its marvellous placement, providing panoramic and topographic views over a valley of River Red Gums and native Pine Trees. The ideal base for exploring this ancient landscape, the striking lodge has four ensuite bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge, with a rear courtyard boasting an open set stone fireplace to warm your evenings under a blanket of stars, complete with wood-fired pizza oven.
Just down the beaten path lies an iconic sheep station Angorichina. Experience a slice of authentic outback life with your hosts and guides Di and Ian Fargher, fourth generation owners. You’ll get swept up in the pace of station life while discovering this fascinating environment. A primordial landscape where red earth meets the Milky Way, the Flinders Ranges welcomes guests into its space with a vast, ancient gaze—all while remaining immense, indifferent, and splendid.
Day 3: From Beaches to Brachina
Fly north to the Flinders Ranges, the landscape that provided inspiration for famed Australian painter Hans Heysen. By late morning, you’ll be welcomed by fourth generation sheep farmers and station owners Di and Ian Fargher and their sprawling backyard. In the afternoon you will visit famed Brachina Gorge. This important natural refuge spot hosts an abundance of wildlife, including the elusive yellow-footed rock-wallaby.
Enjoy an evening of outback hospitality and great conversation at Gum Creek Lodge. The menu has been designed and created by Lisa McIntosh, who is part of the Gum Creek family. After dinner, you can relax, wine in-hand, while admiring the Milky Way above you and enjoying more outback stories.
Day 4: Uncovering the Earth
After a hearty breakfast and an unhurried morning relaxing at Gum Creek, you’ll discover the intricacies of working sheep station life at Angorichina with a hands-on, private tour to immerse you into Di and Ian’s outback lifestyle and backyard. You’ll visit the most beautiful parts of their station and drive through ancient stands of River Red Gums, and witness pine-covered landscapes littered with ancient Ediacaran fossils. There will be plenty of surprises along the way.
Your evening at Gum Creek will be one of leisure and relaxation, soaking up the final rays of sunlight accompanied by another delicious dinner created by Lisa with an array of paired drinks. Soak up your last night of bush tranquillity before tomorrow’s early morning departure.

You’ll touch down at Hutton Vale Farm, renowned for fine wool, free-range lamb, pork, and artisan products, run by several generations of the Angas family since 1843. You’ll be hosted by current custodians John and Jan Angas, and led through the repurposed heritage buildings and sprawling vineyards which form the oldest mixed family farm in the Barossa.
Lunch will be a casual yet intimate affair showcasing food that reflects the culture of the Barossa. A combination of home-grown produce, quality local wines, and warm-hearted company will create an authentic ‘paddock to plate’ experience. After a leisurely afternoon wandering the vineyards, you’ll retire back to your accommodation for a casual yet delicious dinner at The Louise’s on-site three75 bar + kitchen, and an evening at leisure.

This includes a private guided tour at Torbreck Vinters, as well as a private Taste Your Birth Year Vintage Tawny straight from the barrel experience at Seppeltsfield, followed by a casual but classy lunch at on-site restaurant Fino.
